Work
The videos below are of live events and TV segments I worked on through Freelance work as well as Livestream Productions and ABC's "The Chew"
Production Manager for Conde Nast's Brides Live Wedding, June 2014 (Livestream Productions)
Every Summer, Conde Nast's Brides Magazine awards one lucky couple with a million-dollar celebrity wedding. All aspects of the wedding from the cake and decorations to the rings and bride/groom attire are voted on by Brides Magazine readers. The Livestream crew streams the wedding live over a 30-minute broadcast. The 8-camera production involved a crew of more than 80 people, a 30' production truck, and extensive lighting and audio setups in multiple locations.
Production Manager for Yoga Solstice in Times Square, June 2014 (Livestream Productions)
The Yoga Solstice event is 12 hours straight of live Yoga classes and programming streaming from the heart of Times Square in New York City on the longest day of the year. This production involved 4 cameras including a jib and a crew of 20 Livestream staff and freelancers.
Production and Stage Manager for Ride Along Live Q&A, January 2014 (Livestream Productions)
Livestream Productions would regularly partner with AMC Movie Theaters and major film studios to stream a live Q&A with stars of upcoming films in multiple movie theaters around the country. These productions could range from 3 to 5 cameras, including a jib. We would setup a small stage in the front of the theater with a custom lighting setup that could be re-assembled in 5 minutes before the live show began.
Field Producer for 2014 New Year's Eve Ball Drop in Times Square, December 2013 (Livestream Productions)
Ringing in the New Year in New York City's legendary Times Square is a bucket list item for people around the world and an incredible experience I was able to live-out courtesy of Livestream Productions. As Field Producer for this event, I managed a field crew that consisted of a camera operator, audio engineer, production assistant and host as we conducted celebrity and civilian interviews throughout the night. My team was responsible for wrapping up the entire show with a final champagne toast from the roof of One Times Square to kiss the NYE Ball goodnight and say hello to 2014.
Production Manager and Photographer for Fashion Rocks! Front Row LG MAGIC! Concert, August 2014 (Livestream Productions)
As part of the Fashion Rocks! event in New York City leading up to Fall Fashion Week, LG sponsored a live performance of the band MAGIC! at Irving Plaza.
Production and Stage Manager for Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain Live Q&A, July 2013 (Livestream Productions)
Field Producer for Yoga Solstice Times Square, June 2013 (Livestream Productions)
Stage Manager for Lowes Deck the Halls Event, November 2013 (Livestream Productions)
Segment Production and Booking Assistant for Laurie's Kitchen Makeover - Part 1 (ABC's "The Chew")
For this production with "The Chew" I acted as both Casting and Field Producer. I researched, sought out and interviewed over 50 women for the opportunity to receive a full kitchen makeover courtesy of Samsung for a Mother's Day Special. I was able to find Laurie, Mother of 5 and Foster Mother of 26, in the audience holding area for a taping of "The Chew." We went into her home, cleared out the existing kitchen and completely revamped her kitchen in 3 days. The outcome was an extremely heartwarming segment.
Segment Production and Booking Assistant for Laurie's Kitchen Makeover - Part 2 (ABC's "The Chew")
Segment Production and Booking Assistant for Clinton Kelly's Underpants Makeover (ABC's "The Chew")
I had the pleasure of working on several makeover segments with the infamous Clinton Kelly while I was working for "The Chew." None were as involved, challenging or hilarious as the Clinton Kelly Underpants Makeover. It was my responsibility to find and cast 4 women and their husbands who were in need of an undergarment overhaul. I then had to cast 3 attractive models who somewhat resembled their frumpy makeover counterparts. There was a lot of backstage finagling to keep all of this a secret from the wives, but the final result had a surprising and hilarious outcome.
